Will ProudSKIN's skin fit my laptop?
ProudSKIN conducted an online market research thru the help of www.tigersurvey.com online survey facility. According to our market research, a 13.7" x 10" skin will fit most laptops available in the Philippines. If it happens that you laptop is smaller than the afore-mentioned size, the skin can be trimmed using a ruler and a cutter (but of course, the image/design will be cropped as well). On the other hand, if your laptop's back's surface is bigger, we can customize a skin size to your desired size.
How much is a skin? Do you deliver?
Pre-printed skins, meaning skins that we've designed and printed for the collection, is P550 only. If you want to have a skin customized to a desired size, it would be P800. If you want something different, a customized skin design + size will be P1,000. Yes, ProudSKIN delivers using a courier. Delivery charge is waived/FREE within Metro Manila. If your shipping address is outside Manila, delivery fees will be charged to the your account.
How do I order? How will I pay?
We currently don't allow online orders because we are afraid of bogus buyers. If you want to order, kindly quote the filename of the design you like and please email us at sales@proudskin.com. Payments can be made thru Bank Deposits or Paypal.
How long would it take for me to get my skin?
For pre-printed skins, it would take at least 3-5 days commencing upon receipt of payment depending on the shipping address. For customized skin size, it would take 4-6 days upon receipt of payment. For customized skin design, it would take 4-7 days upon receipt of payment. Please be informed that ProudSKIN uses a third-party courier and cannot give assurance on the date of delivery. Also, the production time depends on the load or order that we have at the time we get your order. We are a company that operate modestly. We cannot do rush jobs. You will be notified as to the status of your order thru email. Please check them regularly.
How do you attach a skin?
You attach the skin to your laptop's back surface as you would a sticker on a stickerbook when you were young. We were all young once and we are sure that you've stuck a sticker at least once in your life. At any rate, printed visual intructions will be sent together with your order. Instructions are idiot-free --- complete with "how to attach and remove" details.
What material do you use? Is it removable? Is it durable?
ProudSKIN's skins are made of laminated vinyl. The same material used by skin producers from USA and Europe. The skin is removable and it does not leave any mark on your laptop provided that you remove it properly. Printed visual instructions on how to remove your skin will be provided with your order. The skin is durable enough to last 5 years. However, it is also dependent on how you handle your laptop. Please note that the skin will protect your laptop from scratches and will take all the beating. If you mishandle your laptop, the skin (together with your laptop) will surely be damaged.
Do you do customize designs? How much?
We can customize in two ways. First, if you happen to like a design from us and you would like to change the size, it would be P800. Second, if you want us to design a skin especially for you, it would be P1,000.
I am a graphic artist/graphics-savvy. I can design my own. Can I submit my design for you to produce for me? How much? What format?
Yes, you can submit your design. If you submit your design to be produced for you, it would cost only P800. The file must be print-ready to your desired skin size with at least 300dpi or ppi in the format of tiff or jpeg.
What else can I expect from ProudSKIN?
ProudSKIN will eventually launch its official website anytime soon. The website will have more designs plus the capability of paying orders online thru Paypal's payment gateway. Official URL is http://www.proudskin.com
